St. Benedict's Abbey Church
Date: 11/14/2007
The abbey church is most definitely worth seeing, a masterpiece of design by architect Barry Byrne, finished in 1957 for the abbey's centenary. An interesting fact about this design: it was required to use the foundations for a church project that was started in 1928 but abandoned after the 1929 stock-market crash.
