Campus of Benedectine College I Date: 11/14/2007 Not far from the Earhart house was the campus of Benedictine College and the nearby St. Benedict's Abbey. This lawn was near the abbey.

St. Benedict's Abbey Church Date: 11/14/2007 The abbey church is most definitely worth seeing, a masterpiece of design by architect Barry Byrne, finished in 1957 for the abbey's centenary. An interesting fact about this design: it was required to use the foundations for a church project that was started in 1928 but abandoned after the 1929 stock-market crash.
