Via Crucis

At the Basilica di S. Nicola in Carcere in Rome there is a modern series of paintings by Vanni Rinaldi depicting the traditional stations of the cross, a series titled "Via Crucis". I found them quite interesting and the imagery arresting. I managed to get reasonably good photographs of all but one and I present them in this album. Each of the paintings is 65 cm high x 50 cm wide; they make an impressive collection. Here is the website of Vanni Rinaldi (in Italian).
