Of Nipples & Coal Miners
CBS was fined $550,000 for showing Janet Jackson's right nipple on live television. Coal mines that endanger the lives of their workers are commonly fined $60 per violation.

True, but then Jackson had demonstrated an ability to make pretty good money with her nipples covered. By way of contrast, coal mines required to install safety equipment, do all kinds of training, undergo frequent vigorous inspections and just generally play it much safer apparently would be reduced to near insolvency.
