Glitches in Normality

In an email I received from my father today, he used the following phrase, which I think I can put to very good use to describe some events in my life from the last few years:

I've had some glitches in my normality lately.

This first requires that you reach the state of normal. Every day for you is a new adventure. I say relax and enjoy the ride.

Perhaps I should qualify it as glitches in my local normaility, such as it is; at this stage in my life, I'd so hate to try to be normal, and I'm sure it wouldn't be as adventuresome. As I've noted before, most of our friends are not normal, for all the obvious reasons.
