This is another all-time favorite, classic casserole recipe that we just can't do without. It came originally from the back of the Bisquick box, but a few years ago it seems to have disappeared. Fortunately, we've got it right here.
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 envelope (1.25 oz) taco seasoning mix
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (15.25 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 cups Original Bisquick
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Cook ground beef and onion until beef is brown. Spoon into ungreased 13x9x2" baking dish.
- Stir in taco seasoning mix (dry), tomato sauce and corn.
- Stir remaining ingredients until blended; pour over beef mixture.
- Bake 35 minutes or until light golden brown.
Serves 3 hungry bears.
